Mozambique
Nothing says old school hunting like a free-range game hunting adventure in Niassa, Mozambique! While most hunting is undertaken in Niassa, Juan and the team also offer safaris in the Zambezi Delta as well as Lake Cahora Bassa, which is renowned for its exceptional hippo and crocodile hunting. Much of the province is untouched by development, allowing hunters a taste of hunting in Africa of old, including pristine wilderness areas comprising Miombo woodlands with some open savannah areas, seasonal wetlands, and riverine forests along the many water courses, rivers and streams.
Featuring members of the Big 5 and Dangerous 7, including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, hippo, and crocodile, the Niassa concession on which your free-range hunt takes place is 550 000 ha. Also available to hunt are traditional African plains game species, with the Roosevelt Sable, Lichtenstein Hartebeest and Livingston Eland and endemic species such Boehms Zebra, Johnsons Impala, and the Niassa Wildebeest available to hunt.
The large concession offers three fly camps and one main camp. The main camp offers hunters 4 luxury ensuite tents, with hot water and 220-volt electricity. WiFi and cell service is available at the main camp.
It is advisable and possible to air charter from Pemba to camp.
South Africa
Their large ranch in South Africa brings the wildlife to you, with NO inner fences on the property. Located in northern Limpopo About 5 hours’ drive from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, the luxury lodge leaves hunters spoilt for choice, with many amenities including WiFi, cell service, a swimming pool and more! Up to 16 people can be hosted at the lodge, with chalets featuring ensuite bathrooms, and air conditioning; allowing hunters the perfect opportunity to relax and break the heat after a great day hunting in South Africa’s premier game hunting region.
The focus in South Africa is on big game hunting and elephant, white rhino, hippo, crocodile and Cape buffalo are available, with African plains game species as add-ons.
Mauritius
Limited hunting on private land also takes place on this island, where RUSA deer and wild boar are available for game hunting safaris.
