About the Game Hunting Area: Rungwa River GMA
This reserve is one of the most remote areas within Tanzania and covers a size of more than 3500 square miles, a pure Tanzania hunting safari paradise.
Rungwa game hunting grounds are found within the Manyoni District of the Singida region on part of the western and central Tanzania.
The area consists of rolling hills mixed with patches of forests alongside the streams. The Mpera River offers water to the animals during the dry season, making this area perfect for game hunting. The reserve is also covered with Miombo woodlands, granite “kopjes” providing hunters with access to the dense thickets.

Your African outfitter will have an extensive list of favorite baiting spots which will be checked everyday in person and by viewing images from trail cams. Once a suitable cat has “hit the bait,” a temporary blind will be constructed, and the waiting game will begin.
