Leopard Hunting in Namibia

Leopard Trophy
Leopard Trophy

Namibia is one of the least densely populated places in the world, making it a safe and exciting country to visit. It is a true wilderness and home to the world’s largest population of free-roaming animals.  Since 2010, Pieter has operated on free-range concessions in Namibia called conservancies.

Bushmanland is famous for its trophy Leopards and an abundance of Trophy Elephants, exceeding 65 pounds. Bigger elephants of over 90 pounds have also been hunted on this concession.

The JAQNA conservancy is inhabited by the 3,700 nomadic San (Bushman) tribe and consists of 3,522 square miles of Kalahari sand flat landscape intertwined with Acacia Woodland. The quota includes trophy Elephants, Leopards, Elands, Gemsbok, Steenbock, Kudu, Warthogs, and Duikers. A pack of endangered wild dogs roams in the conservancy.

The ONDJOU Conservancy, also known as Hereroland (named after the +-2000 Herero people), consists of 3,370 square miles. The vegetation is Kalahari sand, grassland and a series of pans providing much-needed water for elephants and other wildlife. Quota; trophy elephant and Leopard, and a few plains game animals such as Gemsbok, Kudu, Jackal, Ostrich, and Warthog.
