Over an 8-day safari, you will face the trials and rewards of hunting a diverse range of animals, each with its own set of challenges. Here is a closer look at what awaits you as you hunt Duiker, Red Hartebeest, Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, Springbok, and Hartmann’s Zebra.

The gray Duiker is a small, elusive antelope that tests your hunting skills with its agility and knack for blending into its surroundings. These animals are experts in camouflage, and their keen senses make them difficult to spot. Precision is key, as shot placement needs to be spot-on for a successful harvest.

In the Khomas region, hunting Duikers means navigating through dense bush and thick vegetation. You will likely hunt during the early morning or late afternoon when they are most active. The thrill of this hunt comes from the stealth and patience required to track and accurately shoot this elusive game.

With its striking reddish-brown coat and impressive horns, the Red Hartebeest is both a visual and physical challenge. Its size and strength demand careful stalking and accurate shot placement. The hunt requires determination and physical stamina as you track these powerful animals across rugged terrain.

The Blue Wildebeest, with its impressive horns and powerful build, poses a unique challenge. Its herd behavior and constant movement make it tricky to single out a target. Effective strategies and precise shot placement are crucial to overcoming this challenge.

When hunting Blue Wildebeest in the Khomas region, you will navigate through varied terrain, from grassy plains to scattered bushes. The hunt involves tracking and separating one animal from the herd. The thrill of achieving a successful shot amidst the herd’s constant motion adds to the adventure.

Springbok are known for their agility and speed, which makes hunting them particularly challenging. Their small size and quick reflexes require hunters to be swift and accurate. The unique behavior of Springbok, including their famous leaps, adds an extra layer of complexity to the hunt.
