Hunters can enter Namibia at Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek). Hugo, or a member of his team will collect you at the airport, and assist with any firearm permits. Transfer to the hunting concession will be via road to the Kohomas Hochland area.
This transfer will take approximately two hours. No hunting time will be wasted on unnecessary travel, nor is there a need for additional domestic charter flights increasing costs.

The concession covers many thousands of acres, meaning there are plenty of big cats available. Hugo, prior to your arrival, will bait the selected area in order to start the process of attracting these cats.
A typical day on a Leopard hunt will be to leave the hunting lodge at first light after a light breakfast. You and the team will then head out, traversing the concession, checking and restocking baited area.
Trails cams will be made use of to check for activity and to try and identify size, sex and age of the Leopard. Once a trophy Leopard has been identified, a temporary blind will be constructed using local materials and it will then be “game on.”
Namibia produces some of the biggest Leopards in Africa and this concession regularly produces Leopards that can exceed 180 pounds in weight, they are huge! A trophy Leopard no matter where you are hunting in Africa is classified as a fully mature male.

The best season for a Leopard hunt will be in the cooler months which run from late April to August.
While the big game hunting season In Namibia runs from 1st February to 30th November, the summer months are just too hot and can present serious risk of dehydration.
