Renowned as the hunting mecca of Africa, South Africa is an exceptional game hunting destination in which to enjoy an African hunting safari, targeting some of the most iconic species available. This challenging African plains game hunting adventure is set in South Africa’s Lowveld region, close to the famous Kruger National Park.
The spiral-horned kudu is known as Africa’s gray ghost and offers a challenging hunt for even experienced hunters, with its exceptional camouflaging ability.
The impala is a graceful, medium-sized antelope. Whether you are a novice or expert hunter, this South African plains game hunting target remains a sought-after trophy.
Blue wildebeest, also known as the poor man’s buffalo, are renowned for their resilience and are best targeted early in the morning when they are grazing and most active.
If you want an exciting, fast-paced, and fun hunting adventure, then warthog hunting will be right up your alley! The best place to target warthog is from a blind, near a water hole as they will visit daily to drink.
Zebras are probably one of the most iconic and sought-after South African plains game hunting trophies targeted for their beautiful hides. Did you know that each zebra’s stripes are unique, much like a person’s fingerprints?
The blesbuck is quite wary and alert, making the approach on this walk-and-stalk a challenging affair.
Set in the scenic mountains of Louw’s Creek just outside Nelspruit and a stone’s throw away from the Kruger National Park, the game lodge offers 600ha of unspoiled nature at its best. Enjoy an African adventure set in the heart of the Mpumalanga bushveld, while experiencing a uniquely African game hunting safari.
The lodge consists of 16 chalet rooms equipped with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms that have both a shower and a bathtub. Observers are more than welcome at $250 per person per day. Basic amenities like soap, shampoo, and towels are provided. Laundry service is also provided.
While electricity to the lodge is provided by South Africa’s utility provider, ESKOM, should there be a power failure, generators are ready to spring into action.
You will also have access to WiFi, making it easy to keep in touch with those back home.
You will be staying in a family-friendly lodge, equipped with both an outside play area for children, as well as two swimming pools. The braai/barbeque/firepit area is perfect for sundowners and offers magnificent views.
Your African outfitter will meet you at Kruger International Airport and transfer to the lodge, about an hour’s drive away.
Should you arrive at OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, the outfitter can meet you there, for a small additional fee, and the road transfer from Johannesburg will take approximately five hours.
Please note that terms, conditions and price are subject to change without notice and rates at the time of the hunt will apply
