Hunting plains game in South Africa is in typical ” African safari” style using the “walk and stalk” method. You will wake up early after a light breakfast and head out to waterholes and or ridges and glass the terrain.
A safari truck may be made use of to move around and cover “more miles”. The hunting grounds in the Kwazulu-Natal Province are a combination of hilly, mountainous and open grass land areas.
Hunters can also follow the “ambush method” of game hunting by camouflaging themselves along frequently used game trails and strategic vantage points or by making use of temporary blinds.

Bushbuck are a medium-sized antelope that is also a master of camouflage, which requires patience on the part of the hunter to target this species.
No African plains game hunt is complete without a hunting a Warthog. Be prepared for a lightning-quick opponent on this hunt. Warthog are also often hunted from a blind or near a water hole. Impala, another favorite African antelope is an attractive medium-sized antelope with a striking set of horns..
