HUNTING IN SOUTH AFRICA'S FAMOUS LIMPOPO PROVINCE
My name is André, and together with my team, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable African hunting adventure, in South Africa's famous Limpopo province!
Our hunting concession is situated on a private game lodge, more than 35 years old. This pristine property has metamorphosed into the Waterberg’s biggest hidden gem, and is well worth exploring! Situated only 2 ½ hours’ drive from OR Tambo International Airport, on the northeastern side of the majestic Waterberg Mountains, the lodge is a haven for hunters looking for an exceptional game hunting experience. Our exclusive airport transfer is available to transfer you to and from the lodge in luxury.
To us, client satisfaction is paramount. We strive to tick all the boxes needed for an unforgettable African getaway for the entire family. We offer hunting, game drives, fishing, luxury bush lunches, bush picnics, helicopter safaris, a spa, children’s playground, swimming pools, luxury lodge with fully licensed bar, and a restaurant with Al Carte Menu or buffet options.
The bushveld's grassy plains are dotted with dense clusters of trees and tall shrubs, with more than 160 species of trees having been identified by the Dendrological Society. Broad-leaved trees and thorn trees co-exist in relatively open woodland, interspersed with long grass and plenty of game. These game hunting grounds offer a variety of hunting experiences for novice, intermediate, and seasoned hunters, including under 18’s, who would like to hunt with their parents. The area also features a shooting range located on the farm to ensure your confidence and the perfect shot for your African hunting safari.
This undisturbed portion of habitat is home to many large mammal species including Cape Buffalo (also referred to as Africa's Black Death), Giraffe, King Wildebeest, Golden Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Kudu, Eland, Nyala, Sable, Zebra, Waterbuck, Impala, Springbuck, Warthog and a variety of additional antelope species and other game.
We specialize in Cape Buffalo hunts, ensuring an unforgettable dangerous game hunting experience, with numerous antelope species available challenge hunters of all levels.
Predators like Leopard and Hyena are roaming the farm and mountainous areas freely to form part of the natural ecosystem. Common reptiles that can be found include the Leguan, Rock-plated Lizard, Leopard tortoise, Python, the deadly Black Mamba and many others.
Limpopo's Waterberg district is a true natural wonder. It features ancient mountains, a rich tapestry of biodiversity, thousand-year-old rock art and a site of critical archaeological and paleontological meaning. Its rolling savanna's makes it a popular safari destination for families, where herds of wildlife, an abundance of birds and diverse plant life can be enjoyed.
The Waterberg district is renowned for its spectacular views and offers a fantastic tourism experience that combines some of South Africa's best features. Mountains, Big Five game viewing and exploring a captivating pre-historic past are just some of its attractions. Other outdoor pursuits that can be enjoyed in the Waterberg area include excellent fishing at our Doorndraai dam, as well as bird watching at the exquisite Nyl floodplain where more than 250 bird species have been recorded in Nylsvlei Nature Reserve.
Additionally, the Waterberg is renowned for its hot mineral springs, with many of its towns actually developed around these natural phenomena. These hot mineral springs can still be enjoyed today, in Mookgophong, a town which is only a 20min drive from the game lodge.
