GAME HUNTING IN SOUTH AFRICA

My name is Pieter and I have had the privilege of growing up learning about and experiencing the bush from an early age. In fact, I shot my first antelope at 7 years old, and my passion for hunting, fishing, people, and the outdoors continued to grow strongly from there. I have been fortunate enough that these passions combined, enabling me to offer clients authentic African hunts in South Africa.

My father was a keen hunter and exposed us to hunting and fishing at a very early age. As a child, school holidays involved going hunting or deep-sea fishing. After school I continued with this lifestyle and guided many friends and clients on game hunting adventures in South Africa. 

My wife and I moved to Nelspruit where I joined the Lowveld hunting association and became involved with dedicated hunting and the development of junior hunting in South Africa. I have been serving on the committee as vice chairman for the last 10 years. I’ m a PHASA member and certified Big Game Professional Hunter in Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces. 

Big game hunting is an exciting, dangerous, and adrenaline-filled hunting safari that I love to share with my clients! There is nothing as satisfying as coming face-to-face with some of Africa’s most dangerous species and being challenged as a hunter to harvest an exceptional trophy. It’s a test of courage, patience, and perseverance against some of Africa’s most fearsome species!

I believe that hunting and conservation go hand-in-hand, and practice ethical hunting safaris. I am committed to providing every client with a memorable, safe, and rewarding hunting experience. I look forward to welcoming you into the bush and sharing the passion that has shaped my life.
