If your goal is to hunt species genuinely associated with Namibia, this safari is difficult to overlook.
Built around five iconic African plains game trophies, this hunt combines gemsbok (oryx), Hartmann’s zebra, black-faced impala, Damara dik-dik, and springbok into one well-balanced safari. It is a lineup that offers variety, challenge, and several species not commonly hunted elsewhere in Africa.
The oryx hunt is the centerpiece of the safari. Tough, resilient, and perfectly adapted to Namibia’s harsh conditions, few animals are more closely associated with the country. Add Hartmann’s mountain zebra, the sought-after black-faced impala, and the tiny but elusive Damara dik-dik, and this becomes far more than a standard plains game package.
Conducted across an 80,000-acre privately owned hunting concession, hunters can expect varied terrain, good game numbers, and proper spot-and-stalk hunting in classic Namibian country.

One of the advantages of hunting in Namibia is the variety of species available. While this safari already includes five excellent trophies, hunters regularly choose to add species should the opportunity present itself. Kudu, eland, blue wildebeest, sable, roan, waterbuck, warthog, Burchell’s zebra, steenbok, red lechwe, klipspringer, and many more species are available on the concession.
Popular add-on species include kudu, eland, blue wildebeest, warthog, sable, and roan.
One of the strengths of this safari is the variety of terrain. Open plains, broken savannah, rocky hills, and mountain country all form part of the concession, meaning different species are hunted in very different ways.
Oryx and springbok are often hunted in more open country where careful glassing and patient stalks matter. Hartmann’s mountain zebra tend to favour rougher terrain and often require more walking and a slower approach. Black-faced impala and Damara dik-dik can demand sharp eyes, steady shooting, and patience in thicker cover.
The result is a hunt that keeps changing. No two days feel quite the same.
Few countries are as closely associated with oryx and Hartmann’s mountain zebra as Namibia. The dry climate, wide open country, and rugged terrain create ideal habitat for these species, while black-faced impala and Damara dik-dik add a distinctly Namibian feel to the hunt. Simply put, this is a safari built around animals that belong there.
For hunters travelling to Africa for the first time, Namibia also offers a relatively straightforward hunting experience. Good infrastructure, stable conditions, and strong game management make it one of the continent’s most popular plains game destinations.
The inclusion of black-faced impala and Damara dik-dik also gives this safari a more specialist feel, offering species that many hunters simply will not encounter on a standard plains game package elsewhere in southern Africa. Combined with the size of the hunting concession and the variety of terrain, this safari offers the kind of diversity that keeps each day in the field interesting.
A hunt like this relies heavily on local knowledge. Five different species across changing terrain requires flexibility and experience. Knowing how to approach an old oryx in open country is very different to planning a stalk on Hartmann’s zebra in rocky hills or spotting a Damara dik-dik hidden in cover.
The Professional Hunters here bring years of practical Namibian hunting experience, supported by trackers who know the concession exceptionally well. Judging trophy quality, reading tracks, understanding animal behavior, and adapting the hunt to conditions all play a role in making the most of your time in the field.
Very few outfitters are genuinely equipped to accommodate hunters with mobility challenges. This one has been doing so for years.
The camp includes rooms adapted for wheelchair users, while hunting vehicles can be modified to suit different mobility requirements. The team also has extensive experience hosting hunters with varying physical challenges, including wheelchair users and quadriplegics. Most importantly, the hunt itself can be adapted where needed. With the right planning, mobility challenges do not need to stand in the way of enjoying a proper Namibian hunting safari.
This is not a case of simply offering wheelchair-friendly accommodation. The camp includes adapted rooms, lift access in key areas, and specially modified hunting vehicles designed to accommodate heavier wheelchairs and varying mobility needs. For many hunters with mobility challenges, one of the biggest concerns is whether they will still be able to hunt properly; here, hunts are planned around the individual, with many species able to be approached by vehicle when necessary while still maintaining the hunting experience.
If mobility is a consideration for you or someone in your hunting party, speak to the team beforehand so arrangements can be tailored accordingly.
Hunters will fly into Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, Namibia, where they will be met by the outfitter. From there, an approximately three-hour road transfer takes hunters directly to the concession.
Namibia remains one of Africa’s easier hunting destinations to travel to, with straightforward firearm import procedures for hunters bringing their own rifles. Rifle rental is also available for those preferring to travel lighter.
If additional information is required regarding this Namibia hunting safari, or you would like to customize the hunt with extra species, observers, or additional hunting days, contact the Game Hunting Safaris team.
