The best time to hunt in South Africa will be during the cooler months, from April until October. Temperatures are too hot in the summer months, with increased tick and insect activity.
The best time for plains game hunts in South Africa is in the early morning after sunrise or the late afternoon magical hour when the bush “comes alive.”. In the eastern Cape, some shots can be a little trickier due to the average shooting distance.
As this ranch is just so large, four by four vehicles may be used to cover more ground. Additional antelope may be hunted for additional trophy fee.
