This team is exceptionally well qualified and knows how to deliver a dream African hunt.

Travelling to the Hunting Concession

International hunters can enter South Africa making use of two options, namely Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, or landing in Cape Town International Airport. Both of these cities offer incredible additional tourist activities which are recommended. Cap[e Town, voted the most beautiful city on the world, offering the famous Table Mountain, wine routes and fine dining. Johannesburg, is the gateway to Sun City and of course the Kruger National Park.

A short domestic flight will need to be taken from either Cape Town or Johannesburg to reach the city of Port Elizabeth, now known as Gqeberha. Peter, or one of his team will meet you at domestic arrivals to commence the road transfer to the hunting lodge.

Vaal Rhebuck Hunting

This hunt is considered one the most challenging plains game hunts in South Africa. Trophy Vaal Rhebuck habitat is on the high ground. You will need to be prepared to walk a few miles,  and do some climbing up the mountainous slopes. Adding this prized trophy to the safari will be at an additional cost of US$ 1950.

Shots are often taken at long range, more than three hundred yards. Vaal Rhebuck hunting takes patience, and a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

Vaal Rhebuck hunting in South Africa is specific hunt,  Beans and team are experienced and skilled in securing your harvesting of a trophy Vaal/Gray Rhebuck.

The hunting areas in the Eastern Cape are of the highest quality and Vaal Rhebuck hunts are unrivaled. Not many hunters have a Vaal Rhebuck in their trophy rooms.

Plains Game hunting Methods

The best time for plains game hunts in South Africa is in the early morning after sunrise or the late afternoon magical hour when the bush “comes alive.” Ridges will be glassed and when the quarry is spotted, the hunt will commence following the walk and stalk method. In the Eastern Cape, some shots can be a little trickier due to the shooting distance being a little more than average.

As this ranch is just so large, four by four vehicles may be used to cover more ground.

Safari Hunting Season in South Africa

As South Africa is not regulated by a specific hunting season, plains game and specialty hunts can take place all year around. The best time to hunt in South Africa will be during the cooler months, from April until October.

In the warmers, temperatures can run high. Not only does this bring risks associated with dehydration, but in the heat insect activity also increases which can make conditions a little unpleasant. Walking into a nest of "pepper ticks" is not that much fun.

Plains Game Hunting in Africa , especially when considering this  package, can only be described as a dream African hunt.
