Game AnimalsWe have a few hunting areas in Zambia with one of them being a Cape buffalo hunter’s paradise with this being the primary quarry on most visitor’s wish-lists. Hunted on foot in the traditional manner, clients will have ample opportunity to find the bull of their dreams, either in the open palm-studded savannas or in the dense thickets that are sure to cause even the most intrepid hunter to experience an adrenalin rush.
The endemic Roosevelt’s Sable, long-horned Common waterbuck, and Common reedbuck are all found in abundance. We have plentiful bushpigs—often taken during the day—exceptional warthogs, and monster Chobe bushbuck.

Hunting Season – August 1 – November 30Due to its proximity to the Indian Ocean and heavy seasonal rains early in the year, the hunting season runs from August 1 – November 30. This gives the bush time to dry out and the controlled burning of tall elephant grass to take place, making it ideal for hunters to access all sections of the hunting area in pursuit of their quarry with the greatest levels of success.
