Accommodation during the hunting portion of the safari consists of comfortable brick chalets, each with en-suite facilities and views overlooking a nearby waterhole. Guests frequently enjoy watching animals visit the water throughout the day, particularly during the early morning and late afternoon hours. Accommodation during the Okavango River fishing portion of the safari is comfortable and well positioned for easy access to the fishing grounds.
Hunting takes place across concessions in Northern and North-Eastern Namibia, including the Zambezi Region. Covering approximately 5,000 hectares, the hunting areas combine open savannah, bushveld, rocky ground, and wide plains that support a variety of plains game species. Species commonly encountered include Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Burchell's Zebra, Warthog, Kudu, Eland, Waterbuck, Hartebeest, Springbok, Damara Dik-Dik, Duiker, and Hartmann's Zebra, with Leopard available in selected concessions. The terrain is well suited to walk-and-stalk hunting. Some days are spent glassing open country, while others involve working through thicker bush or following game trails. The changing landscape keeps the hunting interesting and provides a fair challenge throughout the safari.

Trophies included on this Namibian hunt:
Most hunting safaris focus exclusively on hunting. This safari has been designed to showcase some of the best experiences that Namibia hunting safaris have to offer.
The adventure begins in the hunting areas of Northern Namibia, where hunters pursue plains game across savannahs, bushveld, and rocky terrain. Once the hunting portion of the safari is complete, the experience shifts dramatically as guests travel to the Okavango River for two days of fishing and relaxation.
The result is a safari that combines hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, and exploration into one seamless African adventure.
This safari combines four popular African plains game species, each offering a different hunting experience. Impala hunts often test a hunter's patience and ability to spot movement before being detected. Blue Wildebeest hunts are known for challenging stalks and a species renowned for its toughness and determination.
Burchell's Zebra hunts frequently take place in more open terrain, where keen eyesight and careful shot placement are essential. Warthog hunts provide a completely different challenge, with opportunities often developing quickly as these unpredictable animals move between feeding and watering areas.
Together, these species make excellent use of the varied terrain found throughout Northern Namibia. From open plains and savannah to thicker bushveld and natural game trails, hunters can expect each species to require a different approach, creating a well-rounded and rewarding plains game safari.
Few destinations in Africa offer such a dramatic change of scenery within a single safari. The hunting portion of the trip takes place in the dry bushveld and savannah landscapes of Northern Namibia, where spot-and-stalk hunting remains the preferred method of pursuing game. Wide-open plains, sections of thick bush, and rocky terrain create varied hunting conditions throughout the safari.
Following the hunt, guests travel to the Okavango River, one of Africa's most iconic waterways. Here, the focus shifts from tracking game to fishing productive river systems while enjoying the sights and sounds of one of Southern Africa's most remarkable wilderness regions.
The terrain is as much a part of this safari as the species themselves. Open plains, patches of bushveld, and rocky ground create varied hunting conditions throughout the hunt, requiring hunters to adapt their approach depending on the species being pursued.
For hunters who enjoy spot-and-stalk hunting, the changing landscape keeps each day interesting. It is one of the reasons Namibia continues to be regarded as one of Africa's leading plains game destinations.
After six days of hunting, the adventure continues on the Okavango River. Known for its excellent Tigerfish and Catfish fishing, the river attracts anglers from around the world seeking both exciting fishing and exceptional scenery. Hippo and Crocodile sightings are common, while the abundance of birdlife and river wildlife creates an experience that extends far beyond the fishing itself.
Whether you are an experienced angler or simply looking to enjoy time on one of Africa's most famous rivers, the Okavango provides the perfect conclusion to an already memorable safari.
Included in the package is a day dedicated to game viewing in the Zambezi Region, formerly known as the Caprivi Strip. This region is renowned for its rivers, wetlands, and wildlife diversity. The game viewing excursion provides an opportunity to experience another side of Namibia while observing wildlife in an environment that differs greatly from the hunting concessions and river systems already explored during the safari.
Unlike larger hunting operations that may host multiple groups simultaneously, this safari is designed around a more personal experience.
Only one hunting group or family is hosted on the property at a time, allowing guests to enjoy the full attention of Nico and his team. This personalised approach creates a relaxed atmosphere and allows the safari to be tailored to the interests and preferences of each hunting party.
The Professional Hunters have grown up in the region and possess extensive local knowledge of the hunting areas, wildlife, and surrounding environments.
This safari is particularly well suited to:
This safari may be less suited to hunters whose primary objective is pursuing dangerous game or targeting a single trophy species.
A successful safari is about more than the trophies taken or fish caught. Guests can expect warm Namibian hospitality, attentive service, and excellent meals throughout their stay. The relaxed atmosphere allows hunters and observers alike to enjoy every aspect of the experience, whether sharing stories around the fire, watching wildlife at the waterhole, or reflecting on a successful day on the river. The combination of hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, and comfortable accommodation creates a safari that appeals equally to hunters and non-hunting companions.
Hunters fly into Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, Namibia. Guests may choose to travel by road from Windhoek to the hunting lodge, a journey of approximately 6.5 hours, or take a domestic flight to Rundu followed by a road transfer of approximately two hours.
Both options provide access to the hunting grounds and form part of the overall safari experience.
If you are looking for a safari that offers more than hunting alone, this combination adventure delivers an exceptional mix of plains game hunting, Okavango River fishing, wildlife viewing, and authentic Namibian hospitality.
