Traveling for the Hunt
Traveling to these hunting grounds does add two days to the itinerary, so keep this in mind. There are two ways to reach there:
1. Hunters fly into Hosea Kutako Airport in Namibia, after which a 6.5-hour road trip through Namibia will see you arriving at the hunting lodge and grounds
2. Hunters fly into Rundu Airport after taking a domestic flight from Windhoek. A 2-hour road transfer will take hunters to the lodge and hunting grounds.
The Hunting Areas
The hunting grounds consist of a 5,000 ha partially fenced area, incorporating wild, semi-desert terrain along with savanna-type landscapes, rocky hills, and wide-open plains. The region has large savannas and sections of bush, providing the ideal habitat for an array of game, including both dangerous and big game, such as Leopards, Kudu, Eland, and Blue and Black Wildebeest. This challenging and changing terrain makes the perfect backdrop for an authentic African safari.
