Traveling for the Hunt
There are two ways to reach these hunting grounds after flying into Windhoek. Please note that 2 days need to be factored in for travel for this hunting safari. Both options require a road transfer, one is a longer drive at 6,5 hours and the other is shorter, at around 2 hours.
1. Hunters fly into Hosea Kutako Airport in Windhoek, Namibia, after which a 6.5-hour road trip through Namibia will see you arriving at the hunting lodge and grounds
2. Hunters fly into Rundu Airport after taking a domestic flight from Windhoek. A 2-hour road transfer will take hunters to the lodge and hunting grounds.
The Hunting Concession
These hunting grounds provide the perfect backdrop to an authentic African safari. Consisting of a 5,000 ha partially fenced area, the hunting grounds incorporate wild, semi-desert terrain along with savanna-type landscapes, rocky hills, and wide-open plains. The region has large savannas and sections of bush, providing the ideal habitat for an array of game, including both dangerous and big game, such as Leopards, Kudu, Eland, and Blue and Black Wildebeest.
The Hunting Lodge
The accommodation on the Namibia hunt consists of brick cabins, perfectly positioned to overlook a nearby waterhole, allowing some spectacular views of animals that frequent it, especially early morning or late afternoon.
Enjoy comfortable accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, with each cabin sleeping two people. Other amenities include WiFi, a lapa where tasty, nutritious meals are enjoyed, a swimming pool, and a fire pit to relax around after a great day’s hunting.
