The Caprivi strips is a narrow piece of land which is bordered by Angola, Botswana and Zambia. The wet season is between the months of December to March. During the dry season, it is literally like pulling a plus and the basin empties. This is when the herds of Buffalo cross the waterways.

While Crocodiles share the same territory as Hippo, you guess correctly. The Caprivi is also famous for Hippo hunts. We have hunted the Caprivi, with this same African outfitter for Hippo, and it is highly recommended.
In fact, we are going back later this year to hunt Hippo and Cape Buffalo, both non-exportable.
