A Hunting Safari in Tanzania
Tanzania is considered to be the “Crown Jewel” of all African hunts. Priding itself on traditional hunting safaris, Tanzania is a near wilderness with a variety of ecosystems covering thousands of square miles.
Africa’s Big Five animals, including both Black and White Rhinos, are well distributed throughout the country. The variety of African plains and specialty animals are almost too extensive to list, with Grant’s Gazelle, both the Cokes and Lichtenstein Hartebeest and Puku being favorites.
Safaris include luxury tented camps and large staff complements catering for international hunters.
While a Full-Bag safari in Tanzania is certainly not inexpensive, it remains one of the world’s most desired African hunts.

- The area is home to many notable species, including members of Africa’s Big 5, as well as many antelope species. In fact, it supports around about 70% of the huntable species in Tanzania.
- The Lunda Nkwambi GCA is seen as being one of the best hunting blocks that Tanzania has to offer, due to the excellent management of the wildlife populations, the sustainable management practices that maintain the wildlife populations, as well as the overall hunting experience that it offers hunters in the region.
- For hunters, it provides a memorable hunting experience, with the combination of its size, rich biodiversity, and relatively low human population all being major draw cards for game hunting enthusiasts.
- The area is also involved in several conservation efforts to ensure the ongoing sustainability of the area.
