Hunters will typically arrive via OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg before taking a regional flight to Pemba, Mozambique. From Pemba, a charter flight arranged by the outfitter transfers guests directly into the Niassa concession area.
Due to the remoteness of the hunting areas and the limited road infrastructure within northern Mozambique, charter flights are generally the most practical and reliable method of reaching camp. Charter costs are approximately US$ 5,000 return, although shared charter arrangements may reduce individual costs depending on safari schedules and group numbers.
As charter availability in the region is limited during peak safari season, hunters are advised to confirm travel arrangements well in advance of the safari.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable East African safari camps consisting of spacious en-suite luxury tents with hot and cold running water, reliable power supplied by solar systems or generators, and all the essentials required for an extended stay in remote wilderness conditions.
The camps are designed to provide both comfort and practicality while maintaining the atmosphere of a traditional African safari. Daily laundry service is included, and satellite communication systems are available throughout the safari, with certain camp areas also offering limited mobile network and data coverage depending on location.
