Accommodation is provided in comfortable, well-appointed chalets at the hunting lodge. Each chalet has an en-suite room, a small lounge, and a kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge. The lodge is set within the bushveld, with large indigenous trees and open lawns surrounding the accommodation. Meals are provided as part of the safari, while daily laundry and housekeeping are also included. Observers are welcome and can use the lodge as a base while taking part in sightseeing and other activities in the surrounding area.

The Kudu Bull is limited to less than 54 inches, while the remaining species provide a varied hunting experience across the property's open and bushveld terrain. The Blue Wildebeest is a powerful and resilient antelope that can provide a challenging stalk in open or mixed terrain, making wildebeest hunts a popular part of many South African safaris. Warthog provide a very different hunting experience, often moving between open ground and thicker cover, and warthog hunting in South Africa can add an unpredictable element to a mixed-species safari. Accurate shot placement is essential when hunting plains game. Hunters should understand the vital areas of the species they are pursuing and take only shots that are within their effective shooting ability.
The Professional Hunter will assist with judging the animal, distance and shooting opportunity before a shot is taken. Understanding the anatomy of African antelope and practicing from realistic field positions can help hunters prepare for the conditions encountered during a safari. Good shot placement on medium antelope is particularly important when hunting species such as Impala and Blesbok.
International hunters arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where they will be met by Gerhard or a member of his hunting team.
The transfer to the hunting lodge takes approximately 1½ hours. Depending on international flight schedules, hunters may require pre- or post-safari accommodation in Johannesburg.

South Africa offers plains game hunting opportunities throughout the year, although the cooler, drier months from April through October are generally preferred.
During the drier months, grasses tend to be shorter and bushveld vegetation less dense, which can improve visibility. Summer brings warmer temperatures and increased rainfall, particularly from November through February.
A suitable hunting rifle and ammunition are included in this package. Hunters who prefer to bring their own rifle will need to arrange the required South African firearm import permit.
International hunters bringing their own rifles must complete the appropriate SAPS 520 documentation and provide the supporting documents required for the temporary import process.
