Why Choose This Plains Game Hunt?

Few hunting areas in Namibia offer the combination of an unfenced 100,000-acre concession, a malaria-free environment and genuine opportunities for both rifle and bow hunting. The vast landscapes allow wildlife to move naturally, creating an authentic free-range hunting experience with minimal hunting pressure.

Hosted by an experienced family-owned outfitter, this safari is equally suited to first-time visitors and experienced African hunters looking for quality trophies, comfortable accommodation and genuine Namibian hospitality.

    Bow Hunting in Namibia

Namibia has earned an outstanding reputation as one of Africa's premier bow hunting destinations, thanks to its vast hunting concessions, abundant game populations and well-established bow hunting industry. The combination of natural blinds, carefully positioned waterholes and experienced Professional Hunters creates excellent opportunities for close-range encounters throughout the hunting season.

Whether gemsbok hunting in Namibia across the open savanna or waiting patiently for springbok to approach a waterhole, bow hunting in Namibia rewards patience, precision and good fieldcraft. With bow hunters warmly welcomed on this safari, the concession offers an authentic and rewarding experience for both traditional and compound bow hunters.

    Traveling to Namibia

Your safari begins at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, where you will be met by your Professional Hunter before the approximately two-hour road transfer to the hunting lodge in the Khomas Region.

Namibia is recognised as one of Africa's easiest hunting destinations, thanks to its excellent road network, straightforward firearm import procedures and long-established hunting industry. Combined with abundant game populations and professionally managed concessions, travelling to Namibia is both simple and rewarding for international hunters.

Best Time to Hunt in Namibia

Namibia's official hunting season runs from 1 February to 30 November, with April through August generally regarded as the best months for plains game hunting. Cooler temperatures, dry conditions and excellent visibility make these months ideal for pursuing trophy animals.

The Khomas Region enjoys long sunny days, low humidity and comfortable hunting conditions throughout much of the season, making it one of Namibia's premier hunting areas.

    Extend Your Safari

After your hunt, take the opportunity to explore more of Namibia's spectacular landscapes. Popular destinations include Etosha National Park, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, the Skeleton Coast, Damaraland and Fish River Canyon. Adventure activities such as desert tours, catamaran cruises, whale watching and 4x4 excursions make Namibia one of Africa's finest post-hunt travel destinations.
