Open savannas, scattered woodland and gently rolling terrain provide ideal habitat for healthy game populations while creating excellent opportunities for classic spot-and-stalk hunting. The concession supports Springbok, Warthog, Common Duiker, Gemsbok, Eland, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, and a variety of other plains game species. Hunters wishing to extend their safari or add trophies have numerous options available. This safari combines four outstanding Plains Game Hunts, allowing hunters to pursue a classic Kudu Hunt, together with Springbok Hunts, Warthog Hunts and Zebra Hunts.

Often referred to as Africa's Grey Ghost, the greater kudu is one of the continent's most respected trophies, requiring patience, careful stalking and sharp observation. Springbok provide an exciting challenge across Namibia's open plains, while warthog are renowned for their unpredictable behaviour and impressive tusks. Completing the safari is the opportunity to hunt one of Africa's most recognisable trophy animals, the magnificent zebra.

Additional trophy species may be added at the applicable trophy fees.

Why Choose This Plains Game Safari?

The greater kudu is widely regarded as one of Africa's finest plains game trophies, making this safari an excellent choice for hunters wanting to experience one of Namibia's signature species. Combined with three additional trophy animals, a professionally managed hunting concession of more than 10,000 acres and experienced Professional Hunters, this hunt offers exceptional value and variety.

Whether this is your first African safari or another addition to your hunting adventures, Namibia continues to deliver outstanding trophy quality, professional guiding and unforgettable hunting experiences.

    Hunting Methods

This safari is conducted using traditional spot-and-stalk hunting, the preferred method for pursuing Namibia's plains game. Hunters can expect to spend time glassing from elevated vantage points before carefully planning an approach that makes the most of the wind, available cover and the animals' natural behaviour.

Kudu are renowned for disappearing into thick bush despite their size, requiring patience and persistence. Springbok often favour open country where careful stalking and accurate shooting are rewarded, while warthog and zebra present their own unique challenges through their alert behaviour and sharp senses. Every hunt is guided by experienced Professional Hunters who tailor each stalk to the terrain and the species being pursued.

    Traveling to Namibia

Your safari begins with your arrival at Hoa Kutako International Airportse in Windhoek. As the hunting concession is approximately four to five hours from the capital, an overnight stay in Windhoek is recommended before travelling to the lodge. Windhoek offers excellent accommodation, restaurants, shopping and secure firearm storage, making it an ideal place to begin and end your safari.

Namibia has become one of Africa's premier hunting destinations thanks to its excellent road infrastructure, straightforward firearm import procedures and long-established hunting industry. Combined with healthy game populations and professionally managed concessions, travelling to Namibia is both simple and rewarding.

Best Time to Hunt in Namibia

Namibia's hunting season generally runs from February through November, with the cooler months between May and August offering particularly comfortable hunting conditions. Dry weather and reduced vegetation improve visibility, while game tends to concentrate around water sources, creating excellent opportunities for plains game hunting.

Whether you prefer the greener landscapes of the early season or the increased game activity of the late dry season, Namibia consistently offers outstanding hunting throughout the legal hunting season.

    Planning Your Namibian Hunting Safari

If pursuing the legendary Grey Ghost has always been on your hunting bucket list, this safari delivers the perfect opportunity. Combined with three additional trophy species, experienced Professional Hunters and outstanding Namibian hospitality, it offers everything needed for a memorable African hunting trip.
